Working on location is always a challenge (that I enjoy), as checking the weather and finding the perfect background for the visual story of your brand. I aim to help you create images that are on brand with the mood you're after—using my creativity, imagination and inspiration to create the best photos for your personal brand.

In this post, I share how I worked with Natalie, a freelance writer and style blogger to create a personal branding photoshoot to create visual content for her personal brand. She took the opportunity of a London visit from the US, where she is based, to have a London Photoshoot.

She aimed to get personal branding photos with an elegant vibe showcasing her in gorgeous London. I suggested various locations, and we decided to shoot in elegant places like Mayfair and Chelsea with a background of creamed, colour-toned elegant townhouses. We also styled her photoshoot with outfits that would match what she was going for a joyful vibe. I helped her source beautiful source dresses that would allow movement with a different feel for each location. For example, a floaty, bustier and dark bloom dress that would bring vibrancy into the images.

Having a make-up artist and hair stylist booked for your photoshoot in London is always part of the experience. It will give you the opportunity to relax in the make up chair and help you to enhance your natural beauty to feel great in your skin.

Together we discussed the mood she was after for each location, and it was then down to me to create a different story for each of them, playing with light and energy through the shoot and the message she wanted to put out there for her ideal audience. You can see that joyful was the word we were going for from the images!

London has an array of fantastic locations ideal for a photo shoot. Nothing says more London than the breathtaking area of Mayfair. Yes, it's busy. Sometimes you have to be smart with timing (we can shoot at dawn if needed).

Don't worry about standing on a busy street for a long time. Moving in front of the camera will help you forget about being on the road and feel fantastic being photographed that you won't care about being on the street! You're on a mission to create the most inspiring images for your brand and create engagement, and I'm there to help you with that.

What I love about London is that so many places feel like being in a small village, secluded streets with cottages and colourful doors, wherever I go in London there are so many places that leave me in owing!
